Don't skip this place, people drive a distance to come have some of this jerky, not open sundays!
My wife and I were told about this place by a friend, so we decided to stop in on our way through Post, TX. We arrived on Saturday morning about 11:30 and they close at 12:00 noon. The place was busy. It was not what we expected, when you walk in the door there is a board on the wall that lets you know what they have. There are no cases of displayed product. You do not see what you are getting until they bring it out. Its a little intimidating if you are a first timer. We got the peppered beef jerky and the Jalapeño sausage. We were not disappointed they were both very good. One word of caution the beef jerky is not like you get in the store it is very thick.
Great smoked cheese, jerky, meats. Classic meats and products. If you are in the area stop by.
